The Capacity Building and Experience Sharing workshop of this year’s Twinning Program is taking place in Berlin. On the 2.11. we are starting at the “Haus der Deutschen Stiftungen” with inputs on EU Legislation and TTIP Negotiations, Citizen Participation in Urbanization Processes, and EU wide Coal Campaigning. Following these expert talks there will be a World Café with various topics such as Renewable Energies, Aviation Carbon Agreements,..
On the 3.11. we will meet at the Mercator Repräsentanz where the 2016 Twinners will give talks on their exchange experience. The topics vary immensely between Youth Education, Sustainable Living, Sharing Communities, Low Carbon Developments, Environmental Litigation and Landscape Preservation. All Twinners are experts in their fields and have been working in their respective NGOs for quite some time. The exchange with China was however a completely new experience for most of them and leads to interesting new perspective on how to approach the issues they are facing.
