Twinners Rebecca Freitag (BUNDjugend) and Zheng Xiaowen (CYCAN)
CYCAN & BUNDJugend Berlin see this twinning program as the beginning of further cooperation. CYCAN is building a domestic and an international youth network on climate change, a project BUNDJugend will also be involved in.After the exchange, their team in Berlin became very interested in China’s development and its environmental policies, becoming more open-minded.
The two organizations are also planning to do a youth exchange between Berlin and Beijing for young environmental activists. Planning for this project began during the NGO exchange.
